WHO WE ARE

Eclectic GRITS Productions is a theatrical and performance company focusing on telling our stories our way. For creative and lead playwright and poet Qiana Cutts Givens, the stories are Black, queer, southern and loyal to the vibrant language, experiences, and futures of the characters. The events of one fateful day destroyed the Lee family's loving bond and left them emotionally and physically scarred. Bama, the older of the Lee sisters, tries to keep the family together but unhealed wounds and secrets make it difficult for them to ever be the family Bama holds in nostalgia.
